小宮太郎 ／ Taro KOMIYA
Produce paintings and photographic works as well as rotating objects and installation works like Trompe-l'œil, and an optical illusions.
What underlies my works is "false recognition" that occurs in the relationship between people and things in front of their eyes. When there is a gap between what a person is aware of and the actual things, the meaning and existence of the original thing inverted and they involved the surrounding world and became entrances to make the world multi-visualized .
1985年神奈川県生まれ。2016年京都造形芸術大学大学院芸術研究科芸術専攻（博士）修了 。
滋賀県大津市にてシェアスタジオ「山中suplex」メンバー（メール見習い、雑務見習い）。絵画や写真作品をはじめ、回転するオブジェや、空間を利用したトロンプ・ルイユ（Trompe-l'œil、騙し絵）的なインスタレーション作品などを制作する。主な展覧会に、2020年「VIDEOTOPIA」（MAHO KUBOTA GALLERY・東京）、2019年個展「穴の容態」（Art Center Ongoig・東京）、「 山中suplexのみんなと、尼崎のあなた（あまらぶアートラボ A-Lab（えーらぼ）・兵庫）2018年個展「The skill of pen spinner.」（vou、京都）、「アーツ・チャレンジ2018」（愛知芸術文化センター）、 2016 年「安部公房へのオマージュ／写真とヴォイアリズム」（G/P gallery 東雲、東京）、2014年個展「LIVING ROOM - 虚像日本」（THAV、台北）、2013 年個展「8.8%」（HOTEL ANTEROOM KYOTO、京都）、ALLNIGHT HAPS「 公私混同のかたち」（HAPS、京都）など
