I realised that there were many food images shown next to my art works, when I searched my name “Taro Komiya” on google. They are the images of the food cooked by another Taro Komiya, a chef who has the same family and the personal name with me. My name works as a mirror to reflect another Taro Komiya.
I decided to assimilate with another Taro
Komiya, by uploading my oil paintings of his food images.

當在google 上搜尋自己的名字「小宮太郎」的時候，自己的作品圖片旁邊顯示了許多料理的照片。那是跟自己同
名的料理人「小宮太郎」上傳到網路上的料理作品。以自己的名字為關鍵字在網路上映出另一個小宮太郎，於是我
將他的作品照片畫成油畫上傳到網路上，透過這個行為將自己的一部分與在螢幕的另一端的小宮太郎同值化。

google で自分の名前“小宮太郎”を検索したときに、自分の作品と共に料理の画像がたくさん表示されることに気付いた。それは、自分と同姓同名の料理人”小宮太郎”さんが、作った料理をインターネット上に載せているからだ。
自分の名前がある種の鏡として全く違う”小宮太郎”を映し出す。
私は、この料理の画像を油絵で描き、インターネット上に載せることで、元の画像と、描かれた絵が同時に表示されるようにした。モニターの上で並ぶ二つの画像は、僕ともう一人の“小宮太郎“さんと同化させていく。
