Created during a residency in Israel, this work features a “door” drawn with masking tape on the exterior wall of The Center for Digital Art. Behind this wall, just inside the building, a music school for children is held regularly. Sensing the music as if it were seeping through the wall, the artist drew a door—an imagined threshold toward invisible sound.

イスラエル滞在中に制作した、マスキングテープで描かれた“扉”の作品。設置場所は、The Center for Digital Art の外壁。壁のすぐ向こう側では、子どもたちが音楽を学ぶスクールが行われており、足元からその気配が伝わってくる。その気配に耳を澄ませるように、見えない音への入口として、この壁に扉を描いた。
